CONTRACTOR COMMENTS – FROM ROUSE CONTRACTORS LTD (RCL)
Earthworks have progressed well, aided by the recent favourable weather conditions.
- Strathmore Park Playing Fields: Stormwater works have been completed, and grass strike has occurred.
- Stage One Development: All building platforms in Stage 1 on the northern boundary have been completed and topsoiled, with areas either showing grass strike or having been seeded and mulched.
- Roading: Subgrade formation is nearing completion across Stages 1 & 3 with part of Stage 2.
- Wastewater Infrastructure: A new wastewater line has been installed, tested, and is now operational along the Benalder Crescent park entrance. This includes connections to the Football Club and public toilet facilities.
- Western Area Expansion: Excavation has continued westward over the rise, and this area is currently being built up.
The project continues to maintain strong momentum across all key areas.
Easter and ANZAC Day Trading Hours’ Notice
No site works are scheduled from Good Friday, through to Easter Monday, as well as on ANZAC Day. While dust mitigation works are possible during this period, they are currently unlikely to proceed due to the weather forecast. RCL are implementing environmental controls onsite to mitigate the impacts of the impending weather. Please take care if you are travelling this weekend.
Managing Site Works

With every Land Development there are periods of disruption, very common during the early Earthworks stage. These can include dust, noise and ground vibrations. Whilst the site contractor does everything possible to minimize these issues, there are occasions where neighbouring properties are unfortunately affected.
