Spring 2025 — Development Update

A snapshot of where the development sits this spring — earthworks, services, and timelines for the first lot releases.

The development is really starting to take shape, and we’re excited to share some of the progress happening onsite. Despite recent wet weather, the team has been working really hard to keep things moving.

LOOKING AFTER THE ENVIRONMENT:

Waikato Regional Council is very happy with how the site has been managed during the rain. The new dry pond at Strathmore Park has performed well, helping to manage water in this area.

BUILDING PROGRESS:

All Stage 1 building platforms (northern boundary) are complete and around 70% of Stages 2 and 3 platforms are also finished.
Tuatahi Fibre is beginning install in the coming month.
Retaining wall construction along the northern and eastern boundaries will begin next week.

ROADING and SERVICES:

Stage 1 roads are formed and will be sealed soon, making the site tidier and easier to access.
Subbase work is nearly complete across all stages.
New water lines will soon be laid to improve supply to the Football Club and public toilet facilities.

BENALDER CRESCENT WORKS:

Roading works on Benalder Crescent will begin on 25 September and are expected to take about 4 weeks. Please note, no works will be taking place on the existing roundabout.

WESTERN EXPANSION:

Earthworks are continuing westward as we prepare the next stage of development.
